CONVERSION OF WINDMILL AND NEW BUILD DWELLINGS
The design concept was formed around a farmyard courtyard. The units were elevated to reflect typical farm worker dwellings which had evolved over a period of time, with the central unit taking the form of a converted barn. The largest unit was attached to the listed windmill via a glazed link. The alterations to the windmill included the overhaul of the existing timber work and windows, including the addition of two new openings to the ground floor and a new windmill cap was also added.
